Last year's the Hispanic Center’s participation helped the Warm Coats & Warm Hearts Coat Drive win the Gold Halo Award for best National/Local Integration: A campaign that successfully integrates local chapters and/or business units into a national cause-related campaign.

This year the Center hopes to repeat the milestone and help distributing coats for everyone who needs one. The coats have been donated by the program "One Warm Coat" sponsored by Good Morning America in colaboration with Burlington Coat Factory Danbury.
